Venutec & Phuture Sounds Transform Goring into a Full-On Nightclub for Utah Saints!

Imagine transforming a quiet local village hall in Goring, a place known for community events and tranquil atmospheres, into a full-blown, pulsating nightclub. That's exactly what Venutec, in our latest collaboration with the incredible Phuture Sounds, recently achieved. This wasn't just another gig; it was a spectacular fusion of cutting-edge technology, creative vision, and electric energy, all to celebrate the legendary Utah Saints.

We've been proud partners with Phuture Sounds for over 5 years, working on a multitude of events, each with its unique flavour. But this one? This was special. We were tasked with taking a blank canvas – the charming Goring Village Hall – and creating an immersive experience that would leave over 300 paying customers breathless.

The key to this transformation lay in the meticulous selection and deployment of top-tier equipment. Here's a look at the gear that made the magic happen:

The Visual Powerhouse: A Video Wall Like No Other

To bring Phuture Sounds' vision to life, we needed a video wall that could handle everything from dynamic graphics to live footage, all while maintaining a stunning level of clarity and vibrancy. We turned to the 16 Vivid 4 Chauvet Panels, a professional-grade LED system known for its exceptional performance.

The 16 panels were meticulously rigged on a robust quad truss structure, creating a seamless and captivating visual backdrop that dominated the main stage area. This was more than just a screen; it was a canvas for light and color, a dynamic element that responded to the music and enhanced the overall sensory experience.

The Centerpiece: The "Floating" DJ Booth

One of the standout features of the night was the front DJ booth screen. This was a custom creation, standing at an impressive 3 meters, and leveled to create a stunning optical illusion: the DJ, in this case, the Utah Saints themselves, appeared to be floating!

This was a true masterstroke of design, adding a futuristic and magical element to the performance. The 3m screen served as a second canvas, displaying content synchronised with the main video wall, amplifying the visual impact.

The Heartbeat of the Night: Top-Tier Audio and Lighting

Of course, no nightclub experience is complete without incredible sound and lighting. We ensured the Utah Saints had the best of the best:

The night's pulse was delivered through a powerful 8k Dynanacord front of house system, complemented by stage monitors for the artists themselves. The DJ setup featured 3 x Alphatheta CDJ-3000X and 1 x DJM-A9 Mixer, providing the ultimate platform for their legendary sound.

For the Visual Spectacle:

The lighting rig was a masterpiece in itself, designed to create atmosphere and highlight key moments:

• 4 x ADJ Focus Spot 3: For dynamic and precise lighting effects, adding depth and movement to the stage.

• 2 x Laserworld DS-3000 Lasers: Creating incredible aerial effects and sharp, geometric light patterns that cut through the crowd.

• Chauvet COB UV: To flood the interior decorations with vibrant, glowing colors, transforming the space into a neon wonderland.

• Uplighters + more: A collection of uplighters and other effects to add warmth, color, and a sense of scale to the entire hall.

The atmosphere in the Goring Village Hall was unlike anything the space had ever experienced. The energy was palpable, the music was driving, and the visual effects were simply breathtaking. The night was a resounding success, and we at Venutec are incredibly proud to have been part of it.
