The Challenge: Current System Limitations

The current audio setup in the Kickers Bar no longer meets the standards required for a premier match-day experience. Key issues identified include:

• Failing Infrastructure: The 6 existing ceiling speakers are end-of-life, non-functional, and aesthetically degraded (yellowing).

• Inadequate Volume: Audio currently relies on internal TV speakers for the 3 screens. These lack the "throw" and clarity required to be heard over a typical match-day crowd.

• Zero Atmosphere: The lack of a background music (BGM) system or radio source results in a "cold" environment during non-match hours.

• Connectivity Gaps: The corner HDMI input is currently restricted to TV-only output, with no integration into a wider sound system.

We propose a complete "ground-up" audio redesign. This system will not only solve current volume issues but will provide a rich, hi-fi acoustic environment that is future-proofed for upcoming screen or facility upgrades.

1. The Brain: V-242 100V Mixer-Amplifier

We will install the V-242, a powerhouse central hub. This unit allows the bar staff to easily switch between sources including:

• Broadcast Audio: Built-in DAB+/FM Tuner for crystal-clear radio.

• Digital Media: USB/SD slots and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless streaming.

• Live Integration: Dedicated Microphone inputs for announcements or events.

• Direct Feeds: Hardwired inputs for the Satellite receiver and HDMI sources.

2. Acoustic Coverage: 12-Speaker Distribution

To ensure there are no "dead spots" in the room, we are deploying a dual-layer speaker strategy:

• Ceiling Layer: Replacing the 6 ancient units with 6 x CC8V 100V 8-Inch Ceiling Speakers. These larger 8" drivers provide a much fuller frequency response (deeper bass and clearer highs) than standard commercial units.

• Wall Layer: Installing 6 x Wall-Fitted Speakers in strategic positions to provide "punch" and directional audio, ensuring the sound feels immersive rather than just "overhead."

3. Advanced Connectivity & Extraction

• HDMI Audio Extraction: We will install a dedicated HDMI Audio Extractor at the corner input. This pulls the high-quality digital audio signal from your laptops/devices and feeds it directly into the V-242 amplifier, allowing your video content to be heard through all 12 speakers.

• Satellite Integration: Direct cabling from the Satellite receiver to the "Brain" ensures that when the big game is on, the commentary is loud, clear, and perfectly synced.
